Testimonials

Dr. J R Atfield

An excellent teacher with enthusiasm for her subject and commitment to maintaining and communicating this to her students. She is encouraging and supportive in her approach and continually strives to enhance and develop her pupils' progress and attainment. She will always do her utmost to help private tutees to attain their highest potential, whilst making learning fun. She has excellent communication skills and the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Any parent would feel secure and confident in entrusting their child's tuition to her. I recommend her without reservation.

Felix, Student

My GCSE English exams were looming and I felt that I needed extra support in both English Language and Literature as I wanted to obtain the best mark I could . We contacted Escape Bubble and we decided that I would have a two-hour session each week. I was also given homework which I emailed back to my tutor during the week. This intense teaching and revision period helped me and I felt that regular sessions and homework made sure that I kept on track. Alexandra made me feel more confident about my abilities and I valued her support. She helped me structure my work effectively and develop my exam techniques - I am dyslexic and so one-to-one support was very helpful. I was delighted to get a B in English Literature and a C in English Language, which meant that I was able to undertake the A Level courses I wanted.

Kate, Parent

I contacted Escape Bubble late in the GCSE year. My son is dyslexic and while he had been making good progress, I felt that a personal tutor would help him develop his exam technique and identify any areas in which he needed additional help. We decided that he would have a two-hour session each week as the GCSEs were only a few months away.He felt his tutor Alexandra was very supportive and helped him enormously. I could see an improvement in his confidence and in his ability to focus on revision and also in the quality of his work. I felt Alexandra offered a bespoke programme for my son and this made all the difference. He gained the results he needed for Sixth Form and is starting his A levels in September.
